MCNEX. Achieves International Standard Certification for Automotive Cybersecurity

MCNEX has obtained Cybersecurity Management System (CSMS) certification based on the international standard for automotive cybersecurity engineering 'ISO/SAE 21434' from the global certification body DNV. This certification applies to all vehicles sold in major countries starting from July of this year.

'ISO/SAE 21434' is a standard item defined by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), created by over 160 national standard organizations around the world. It defines the cybersecurity process and requirements from vehicle design and development to testing and post-mass production stages.

International standard certification for automotive cybersecurity refers to certifications and standards developed to ensure the cybersecurity of automotive systems. Starting in July of this year, all mass-produced vehicles in the 56 member countries of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), including the United States, Germany, Korea, and Japan, must have cyber certification as a mandatory condition of sale.

ISO/SAE 21434

ISO/SAE 21434 is an international standard specifically developed for automotive cybersecurity engineering.
